In
Poem,
Velvet Dawn
Lights bid goodbye
Into night's very eye
I stood watch as moments pass by
Rooftops lifting sky
Wings eager to fly
A murder congregates near and beautify
Time kindly offered its hand
To watch the colors blend
When minds spoke day's end
It gets back every now and then
The wind whispered to the velvet dawn
I lock the gate and street felines yawn
Carry on with the hope of tomorrow
World gives you meanings to borrow
