Prelude to the Galaxy

15:56

I held your hands in a pixelated world
A smile covered with burning red roses
Flowing as gently as a round heart
A galaxy where we live closest

The clock resets every night and day
But time collapsed with a fountain of fun
A replenishing splash of lukewarm water
Omitting a place where we lost the sun

We shared a bar of dark chocolate
A bitter sweetness I can completely feel
For a new prologue we nearly finish
Who knew what lies beyond those hills

Our holding hands passed with flying colors
Where red and blue created a new entity
Trials of life, love, and vulnerability
A moving bridge of hearts as a galaxy

a night for you are a day,
