Where I Harbor My Feelings

11:14

Looking at the remnants of this once glorious town
Where the clowns were used to be the crowned
I put my hands on a neon god they made
Once shining on a heavenly parade

The salty breeze took me back to a summer
Of a wicked yet comely newcomer
And the ships be weary
On nights cold and dreary

She was the waves that pulled my feet
When city lights and stars did compete
The ocean was screaming back at me
As loud as she could ever be

Let this harbor be my last haven
Before I set my sail and my heart caves in
So the tears I tried to elude
Have to be over as rain subdued

She was the waves that pulled my soul
The depth that swallowed me as a whole
The ocean is screaming back at me
As frank as she could ever be

the angler and his anger,
