Life as Words (Bageur)
02:26
Hey, it's 2 in the morning! Do you know what that means, besties? Endless-chatter-about-life time!
Tonight I brought you a fellow heavy thinker I met by chance. (Yeah, sure.) Meet Bageur, and so let's hear what he has to say about Life, shall we? But before that, check out this guy here if you want, he writes some deep stuff sometimes... yes, sometimes. Anyway, without further ado, here goes.
"Life to us
Is the words to the book
Life is
The first letter we took
That gave us no choice
Except to keep going on every page we would cherish
Life is
A tiny curly comma
That gave us a glimpse
Of time to quickly decide what the future should be
Life is
Sometimes a full stop
That gave us a sign
That nothing's temporary; be it a joy or a pain
Life is
An apostrophe
To everything in our pages
That we never owned, and we never will
Life is
A question or exclamation mark
That gave us emotion
To every conflict we experienced all alone
Life is
An empty space
Between our full stop and the next letter
Where we contemplated our path to make it better
In the end, life is
The patterns you make
Until you reach the last punctuation in your page
Be it a full stop, a comma, or else that will end your trace"
Wait, you might want to read them one more time.
So! Personally I like the idea of depicting life as anything related to language. I mean, they are both mysterious. Who knows where life came from? Who knows where language came from? Yes, not even your grandma's grandma. Anyway, life is really full of words, letters, and even punctuation. Sometimes, you just can't find the right words, but someone will get what you mean anyway. Why? Because it's all written on your eyes--face, whatever that is. Our life might not be a complete series of novels, but even if it's just a short story, we'll just have to enjoy it, right?
