"Ah!" He stopped walking for a second.

"W-what is it, Micah?" Daria turned around to see him.

"No, never mind." Micah grabbed something from his pocket with his left hand before showing it to Daria. "Do you want a piece of gum?"

"Well, don't mind if I do." She reached out her right hand as well.

Without a single doubt, Micah grabbed Daria's hand. There was never any piece of gum at all.

"Micah.." Daria's face turned red again.

"It's okay, right?" said Micah, Daria nodded. "Then, let's continue with our date."
