"Hm..." A girl was standing still in front of a vending machine, trying to decide on what drink to buy.

"Honoka, done choosing?" She turned around to see who it was, but she could feel her face feeling a little hot when she did.

"A-ah, Shintarou... don't you have a basketball practice this afternoon?" she said, taking a step back because the boy was a little too close to her.

"Hm? I am on practice, just slacking off a little to get something to drink." He put some change into the vending machine next to Honoka's, before pressing the button for a can of sports drink. He opened the can and began drinking, while Honoka was still standing there unsure on what to choose. "Anyway, what are you doing in here? School ended 2 hours ago, right?"

"E-eh?" This time, Honoka didn't turn around from the vending machine when she's answering. "Uh, um... I h-have a special class to att--"

"Oi, Shin! You better come back here before the coach gets mad!" Someone shouted from the court which is actually located not far from the vending machines.

"I know! I was just taking five!" Shin shouted back at him. "I'm sorry, Honoka. I have to go back to practice, be seeing you tomorrow then!"

"S-sure! It's okay! See--" Honoka bit her tongue, but she waved her hands to tell Shin that she was fine. Shin walked away, while Honoka could only hide her smile behind the red scarf she's been wearing. She turned around a pressed a button. The button for the same sports drink and she finally walked away, drinking happily.
